Back from Baja!

I just returned from the Touratech Baja Peninsula in Mexico! The inaugural ADV Baja Rally was a great success. I entered the event with little knowledge about it, and honestly, since I don't speak or read Spanish, I wasn't fully aware of what was happening throughout the rally. However, I've been assured that the rally app will have English instructions by next year.

This two-day rally featured a checkpoint format and was scored using an app that required photo evidence for points. Riders had the freedom to choose their own routes and select checkpoints both on and off-road, ranging from urban areas to remote desert locations. I covered around 1,000 km in 48 hours.

As for my performance, I'm not entirely sure how I did. I know I didn't win first place because I didn't receive a cash prize, but I was called to the stage and awarded a medal, which was pretty cool!
